Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are provided with each purchased product license of ORS Visual Pro and/or any add-on module. An AMC can also be purchased separately for ORS Visual Lite, which is available for use free of charge.
Owners of an AMC are entitled to free upgrades of major and minor releases, as well as to priority Technical Support services over a period of 12 months from the date of initial purchase. For all licenses of ORS Visual Pro (Annual, Perpetual), the AMC is included for the first year (12 months) from date of purchase. For all ORS OEM products, the AMC is billed from day one of the agreement and every year thereafter and remains in force provided the AMC fee is current.
Installation of ORS Products
Basic installation support is included (stand-alone versions only). Technical installations (OEM, WEB) are not included and are subject to ORS support costs beyond the AMC.
Priority Technical Support
ORS takes problem reports seriously and channels them directly to our development team. Our support team will provide you with a fix or workaround (if possible), or let you know in which version of the product the problem will be corrected.
Provided the issue can be traced back to an ORS Visual product and all other pertinent guidelines have been followed, our Technical Support Team will review your issue and provide a best-case recommendation.
Recommendations for Using ORS Visual Products and Solutions
Our support engineers will provide you with the "how to" that explains the best way to use ORS products and solutions (limited to 1 hour before training costs are incurred).
Enhancements and Feature Requests
At ORS, we are committed to providing the best Medical and Scientific software products on the market and appreciate all enhancement and new functionality requests. All requests will be considered and you will receive notification if your suggested enhancement will be included in the product or not.
Annual Maintenance Contracts do not include the following services:
Problems that are not related to a suspected ORS product defect. Consulting and/or training services.
If you require any other type of additional support, it can be obtained at an additional charge.
The easiest way to renew an AMC is to make payment upon receipt of your invoice. However, you can also purchase an AMC anytime within 30 days after the annual anniversary date of license purchase has passed without any financial penalty. However, no software updates or support shall be provided during the renewal process (time between AMC expiration date and receipt of payment).
